I suffered from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, (IBS), for about 2 years, from 1993 to 1995. During the first year or so, of my illness, I put the symptoms down to over-eating, eating y foods, drinking too much, (on occasions), not enough exercise, reaction to certain foods, foods fighting, etc..


The only remedial action I was taking was not to eat anything, but have bland fluids for 24 hours to flush everything out. Of course this made me tired and exhausted.



By the second year it was happening too frequently to dismiss the symptoms as something minor. It was about time I visited my doctor.


After several visits, my doctor had diagnosed IBS. She suggested I eat more fiber, take regular exercise and try to relax more. I tried this for several months, but with no success at all. Indeed, every so often, it seemed to get even worse.


My main research, from books and magazines articles, told the same story; that IBS was a chronic disorder with no real cause. It seemed at this time that I was going to be stuck with this illness forever.


At last my "answer" came after reading an article from a medical book. Apart from other treatments it suggested a complementary approach to tackling IBS. The only problem was that it didnt state exactly how to carry out this alternative approach.


Apart from paying an alternative the lots of money, there seem to be very little information on this different way of curing my IBS.


Knowing the basic concepts of this approach I set about devising my own plan to cure my Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

I’ve probably been suffering unknowingly for about 6 years, perhaps longer. When it got really bad the doctor diagnosed IBS.


He was willing to give me tablets for the pain etc. but I didn’t want any. I take enough for migraine!
