Since you are here reading this letter I know that you are a serious athlete. Also, I am almost certain that you have probably tried numerous "speed training" programs in the past. Chances are they did nothing to help you become a better athlete.


Imagine getting the hand off, hitting the hole like lightning and taking it 75 yards to the house…



Or quickly reacting to a p to your defender, stealing it and exploding down the court for an easy layup…

The type of speed that you just can not develop by following the normal speed training workouts that everyone else is using.


Here is the problem: Most speed training programs out there are training you incorrectly. Their main goal is to make you run as fast as possible in a straight line.


Instead, you need to be able to go from standing still to lightning fast, in any direction, as quickly as possible. You need to be able to react, accelerate, and reach full speed faster than your opponent.


This is why many "stand-out" track athletes do not have success in other sports. They are used to running in a straight line with nothing getting in their way or having to quickly change direction.


What you need to do is train with the purpose of increasing your speed, acceleration and change of direction quickness. These types of skills will help make you a better athlete in your sport. Period!
